Day 1: Thursday, July 10, 2025

  • Depart LAX to Auckland

Day 2: Saturday, July 12, 2025 (Auckland)

  • Arrive in Auckland, meet your experienced NZET Driver Guide, and go to the hotel.
  • Settle into your accommodation and later visit the Sky Tower.

Day 3: Sunday, July 13, 2025  (Auckland)

  • Explore Auckland known for its impressive natural landscapes and diverse city life.
  • Welcome dinner at Fortuna Restaurant. 
  • Accommodation: The President Hotel.

Day 4: Monday, July 14, 2025  (Auckland)

  • Visit two major corporate businesses (TBC) based in Auckland.
  • Breakfast at the hotel.
  • Accommodation: President Hotel.

Day 5: Tuesday, July 15, 2025  (Auckland)

  • Meet with specialists from the University of Auckland's Business School.
  • Share your research at the Economic and Managment Studies Conference.

  • Tour the Port of Tauranga.

  • Tauranga to Rotorua
  • Meet with an authority on the Rotorua and/or New Zealand Tourism industry.
  • Breakfast at the hotel.

Day 9: Saturday, July 19, 2025 (Rotorua)

  • Free time in Rotorua.
  • Optional activity: Te Puia – Te Po.
  • Breakfast at the hotel.

Day 10: Sunday, July 20, 2025 (Rotorua to Wellington)

  • Drive from Rotorua to Wellington and take a guided tour of the Parliament buildings.
  •  Breakfast at the hotel.
  • Accommodation: Copthorne Oriental Parade.

Day 11: Monday, July 21, 2025 (Wellington)

  • Meet with professors from the Victoria University of Wellington School of Business and Government.
  • Visit a financial institution.
  • Breakfast at the hotel.
  • Accommodation: Copthorne Oriental Parade.

Day 12: Tuesday, July 22, 2025 (Wellington)

  • Visit Creative HQ and the award-winning Weta Workshop.
  • Visit Te Papa Museum.
  • Breakfast at the hotel.
  • Accommodation: Copthorne Oriental Parade.
  • Farewell dinner (TBC).

  • Departure from Wellington City

This trip can be funded out of pocket or through institutional support. Schools and universities can cover the full cost or offer partial sponsorship for their faculty's participation

Payment Schedule (alternate schedule may be negotiated by request of the participant) 

  1. $300 non-refundable registration fee
  2. $800 by November 15, 2024
  3. $800 by December 16, 2024
  4. $800 by January15, 2025
  5. $800 by February 14, 2025
  6. $800 by March 14, 2025
  7. $800 by April 15, 2025
  8. $400 by May 14, 2025

Single Room Upgrade:

  • $500 for single occupancy

Any activities or meals not mentioned in the program

Cancellation Policy:

All cancellations must be received in writing.  The following cancellation schedule applies:

  • 70% of the paid amount refunded between 100 and 91 days prior to departure.
  • 60% of the paid amount refunded between 90 and 61 days prior to departure.
  • 50% of the paid amount refunded between 60 and 51 days prior to departure.
  • No refund within 50 days of the departure date.
