Egypt is home to a civilization with more than 5,000 years of recorded history. Students walk among the pyramids of Giza and the Valley of the Kings, sail on the Nile, visit the Library of Alexandria and experience the busy streets of Cairo.

    Students shop and eat in Cairo's most famous bazaar, then see the city from the river.

    Giza and Overnight Train to Luxor

    Luxor East Bank

    Luxor holds the largest concentration of ancient monuments in Egypt. The first visits are on the east bank of the Nile.

    Luxor West Bank

    The royal tombs and mortuary temples of the pharaohs lie across the river from the city.
