If you want to study abroad, you need a valid passport from your country that will last at least six months after your planned return date. If you don't have a passport, or if your passport is about to expire, make sure you apply or renew it as soon as you can! U.S. citizens can visit the U.S. Department of State's website for more information about passports and processing time.
Study in Ireland – Travel Path
* If you want to study in Ireland and are a non-EEA/non Swiss national, you will need to have a letter of enrolment and have paid your fees
* If you are under 18 years of age, you will require a guardian in Ireland
* Depending on your nationality, you may also require a visa
* If you are planning to stay longer than 90 days you will also have to register.
