Overview

Denmark as a classroom

Denmark is a small country with large influence in education, design and public policy. Its schools emphasize student voice, project work and well-being, and its folk high school tradition reflects a long view of lifelong learning. Copenhagen's cycling infrastructure, wind energy and waterfront redevelopment are frequently studied by planners and business students. Students can also examine the country's real challenges, including integration and achievement gaps.

ARAMFO has run faculty development programs in Copenhagen on innovations in education and on the Danish educational system, including its challenges, along with business and entrepreneurship workshops on Denmark's economic dynamics. Every faculty-led course is customized to the professor's syllabus and travel dates.
